About Musician.help
Musician.help was created to make music theory feel practical, visual and musical — not academic or overwhelming. The platform focuses on helping musicians actually hear, practice and internalize concepts directly in the browser through interactive tools, real-time audio and hands-on exploration.
Who I Am
My name is Luis Moggi. I am a software developer, guitarist and bassist passionate about improvisation, harmony, ear training and practical music theory.
For years, I studied scales, modes, intervals and harmony using traditional methods that often felt too static or disconnected from actual musical practice. Many websites explained theory with long articles and diagrams, but very few allowed musicians to interact with sound in real time.
That gap inspired the creation of Musician.help — a platform designed to combine music theory, audio, visualization and experimentation into a single modern learning experience for musicians.
Why I Built Musician.help
Most musicians do not truly learn theory by reading. They learn by hearing, repeating, improvising and experimenting.
The idea behind Musician.help is simple:
Music theory should feel alive.
Instead of creating static educational pages, the goal is to build interactive musical tools where musicians can:
- Hear intervals and harmonic movement
- Visualize scales on the fretboard
- Practice improvisation over backing tracks
- Train ear perception in real time
- Explore modal harmony interactively
- Understand harmony through sound and context
